Legal Information

Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. Below, in plain terms, we explain what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is the data controller

The data controller for the personal data collected through this website is Dimitris Batsaris, a Real Estate Advisor affiliated with the RE/MAX En Oiko network, acting as an independent professional. This policy covers only the activity and data he personally processes through this website, and does not constitute a statement on behalf of RE/MAX or any other office within the network.

What data we collect

This website has no user accounts, newsletter sign-up or comments — the only data-collection form is the contact form. When you fill it in, we collect your full name, your email address, optionally your phone number, and the message you send us. We do not collect any other personal data through this website.

Why we process it & legal basis

The information you submit through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry — for example, to get in touch with you about a valuation, a sale, or any question related to real estate. This processing is based on your explicit consent, given by clicking "Send", as well as on our legitimate interest in responding to a direct inquiry that you addressed to us.

How long we keep your data

Every inquiry submitted through the contact form is recorded in a secure, non-public log within the website's management system, so we always have a reliable record of our communication, regardless of whether the corresponding notification email is successfully delivered.

In practice: contact-form submissions are currently kept for 24 months after they are received, after which they are permanently deleted.

Who else may access your data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Our hosting provider and our email delivery service may have technical access to it, solely to the extent required to operate the website and deliver your message to us, and never for their own purposes.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, nor any analytics tools or marketing pixels. We do not monitor your browsing behavior and we do not build visitor profiles.

Your rights

As a data subject, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — to find out what data we hold about you and how it is processed.
  • Rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — to request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction of processing — to request that we limit how your data is used in specific cases.
  • Portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection — to object to the processing of your data.
  • Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw, at any time, any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) — Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, Greece, www.dpa.gr.
